  5. Administrator Group Creation Tool Creating a new Group To create a new group, enter a short, descriptive Group name. There are two group types: • All Users,by selected School(s), District(s), Region(s), Workshop(s), and/or State(s). • Individually selected Users who have already registered with SEC. (Useful for including a users in multiple groups, without including an entire school or district.) You may also View and Edit existing groups that you have access to.

School & Class Description • To get us started, we would like to ask you about how classes are organized at your school. • If you teach multiple courses within a given subject area, we’ll also ask about the number of different courses you teach. Departmentalized Instruction: teachers are assigned to specific subjects across multiple classes of students. Teachers may be assigned to multiple courses within a subject. Subject Area Specialist (non-deparmental): teachers specialize in a particular subject, but the school is not organized by subject area departments.
