  2. Arrival & Dismissal • Meet on Primary Playground • Kindergarten Gate • Changes must go through the office!

  3. Lunch • Lunch then Recess • Lunch $2.50 • Salad Bar $1.50 • Milk or Juice $0.50 • Breakfast $1.00 • Please label all money and put in your child’s folder.

  4. Snack • Healthy – low sugar, low fat • No home made baked goods • Must be pre-packaged

  5. Parent Volunteers • FTO • In classroom/At home/ Art Masterpiece • Please contact teacher (day and time)

  6. Homework • Given on Wednesday and due on Monday • Reading Homework • Extension of learning

  8. Curriculum • Reading Harcourt Reading Program Shared at Home Reading Phonics Based Curriculum New letter introduced throughout the year Sight words taught throughout the year Practice Comprehension & Vocabulary

  10. Math • Common Core Standards • Investigations Curriculum • Hands on Learning • Emphasis on Problem Solving This program utilizes manipulatives primarily and focuses on thinking mathematically. Because of this few independent practice sheets will be sent home.
