  2. The Judges House Buck is stolen by Manuel and taken to Canada and sold to dog sled teams.

  3. The Yukon As soon as Buck stepped into the unfamiliar setting, he was immediately engulfed in the unknown.

  4. The Man in the Red SweaterThe man in the red sweater teaches Buck the way of club and fang.

  5. First Step Buck quickly learns the law of club and fang. Where he then challenges Spitz slowly and painfully, fighting for dominance . (while others steal their food)

  6. The Loss of Spitz Spitz and Buck finally have their fight to the death surrounded by a ravenous horde of huskies. Buck emerges victorious and takes Spitz’s place at the front of the sled.

  7. Changing of the Team Buck and his team are traded to a mail running team where their endurance is pushed to its limits.

  8. Toil and Trace The dogs switch teams again and are stuck with three people who don’t know how to handle a dog sled team. So one by one each dog suffers from starvation and slowly loses their strength.

  9. John Thornton’ Rescue John Thornton saves Buck from an icy grave with his old masters as they fell through the ice to their deaths.

  10. One Thousand Pounds John Thornton made a bet that Buck could pull out one thousand pounds on his own, and drag it for one hundred yards. The bet is won, Buck succeeded in the impossible deed.

  11. Buck Answers the Call of the Wild John Thornton is killed by the Yeehat Indians and Buck finally heeds the Call of the Wild.
