National/Regional News • Annual Convention – March 2013 • REGISTER TODAY! • IAE Opportunities • Volunteer – headquarters management, workshops, entertainment events, greeters • IAE/Cummins hosting Tuesday night network reception • IAE/Cummins hosting Friday Night Convention Entertainment • National/Regional Elections • Applications due in early March • Check Regional AE and National AE websites for applications deadlines • Both elections take place at Annual Convention • Chapter Delegate vote

Regional Update - ICD Institute of Chapter Development • Institute of Chapter Development • 2 submissions to National Programs Chair this year • IAE submitted first submission in October 2012 • Received feedback from Regional Alumni Programs Chair • IAE asked to be the benchmark for the Region for the outstanding work thus far • Alignment with 2012-2013 IAE Vision • Chapter of the Year Mindset • Professional Branding • Operational Excellence • Membership Mindset

IAE Representatives Needed Bianca Brown, Chair (chair@nsbe-iae.org) • IAE Needs Your Help!! • Annual Convention Chapter Delegates • Each chapter gets 2 votes in all National and Regional Alumni elections • Responsible for attending all delegate meetings and Candidate sessions • Responsible for voting on behalf of the chapter – selecting candidates and voting on proposals during designated times • Let Bianca know if you are interested (chair@nsbe-iae.org) • Indianapolis Minority Joint Professional Committee • IAE is an IMJPC founding organization • 2 IAE representatives are needed to serve on 2013 committee • Attend 2012 Holiday Soul event wrap-up meeting – Tuesday January 22 • 6:30PM – 8:00PM - Old National Bank in Broad Ripple at 6135 North College • Will represent IAE in the planning for the 2013 event
