Essential Insights on Viral STDs: Herpes, Hepatitis B, HIV, and HPV

Viral STDs, including Herpes, Hepatitis B, HIV, and HPV, significantly impact public health. These infections are not curable but can be managed with medical treatments. Herpes causes sores and blisters and is transmitted through skin contact. Hepatitis B can lead to serious liver diseases and is spread through bodily fluids. HIV weakens the immune system over years, often with no symptoms. HPV has multiple types, some causing warts or leading to cervical cancer. Awareness, protective measures, and understanding the risks are crucial in tackling these infections.
