  4. Length • Length is measured in meters Kilometers 1000 Hectometers 100 Dekameters 10 Meters Decimeters 0.1 Centimeters 0.01 Millimeters 0.001

  5. Mass • Mass is measured in grams Kilograms 1000 Hectograms 100 Dekagrams 10 Grams Decigrams 0.1 Centigrams 0.01 Milligrams 0.001

  6. Volume • Volume is measured in Liters OR cm³ Kiloliters 1000 Hectoliters 100 Dekaliters 10 Liters Deciliters 0.1 Centiliters 0.01 Milliliters 0.001

  7. Other SI Units • Time is measured in seconds (milliseconds are also often used) • Weight is measured in Newtons • Temperature is measured in Celsius or Kelvin
