Hardware Configuration • Unit has to be connected to network and powered. • Computer has to be connected to the same network. • Ipconfig command from dos prompt shows current computer IP. • Monitor utility will help to find unit on the network and identify it’s current IP address. • In order to have TCP communication it is necessary to have computer and device server in the same subnet or in case device is in different network segment- appropriate gateway and network configuration.
