  5. iguana • Iguana is a kind of lizard. • It’s from tropical areas of Central, South America and Caribbean.

  6. iguana • There are two types: the Green Iguana and Lesser Antillien Iguana, which is endemic to the Lesser Antilles.

  7. iguana • The Green Iguana is often located. • It can grow up to one meter and half and heavy the most 10 kilos. • Iguanas live 20 - 35 years.

  8. iguana • It has strong and a long tail. If it hurts a part of tail it can be quickly regenerated. • They like to lay in the sun. Heat absorbent for their cold body.

  9. iguana • The Green Iguana has a row of spines along the back which help it to deter predators. • It has a third eye on it’s head and detects any changes in lighting. Third eye helps them to discover shadows of their natural enemies.

  11. iguana • Scientist from Rome discovered a very special Iguana of rare Pink Iguana. • Pink Iguanas are living around the volcano Volf on Isabela, one of the islands of the Galapagos, island in the Pacific Ocean.

  12. iguana • Iguanas are one of the most popular lizards to be kept as pets. • We visit one of them, whose name is Dodo.

  13. iguana • Dodo prefer vegetables such as: greens, lettuce, broccoli and carrots, potatoes, and radish too!
