  5. What is CSR : A voluntary initiative on the part of a business to contribute to a better society and a greener and cleaner environment.

  6. Earlier projects: • AxisElectrical Components (India) Pvt. Ltd, - Airport • Education: Provided E-learning kits to schools in a variety of locations impacting hundreds of children - Rs.5.00 Lacs. • Jaipur education initiative –Provided school benches & Drinking Water Facilities at ( Vinay Bharti Bal Mandir -Jaipur).Rs.2.30 Lacs • Sanitation : Has built toilet blocks for girls and boys in St. Mary, St.Thomas School-Kurar village Rs.5.00 • Health Care & Rehabilitation Baby warmer ( Incubator) donated to Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital –Mumbai..Electric  Wheel chair for disable childrenRs.6.60 Lacs. • Bore well & Water Tap water distribution system for Kev Village, Maharashtra, by digging a bore well, providing a submersible pump, building an elevated storage tank and then laying the pipleline to distribute the water to various locations in the village. Rs.5.00 Lacs

Earlier projects: ThyssenKrupp– Mahim Year.14-15( 50 Lakhs) Equipment donation to KEM & Tata memorial Hospital Year.15-16( 1.18 cr) Tata Memorial Hospital:a.Ultra Sonic aspirator for brain and liver tumour surgeryBenefits 400-500 patients per annum Rs.28 lakhs Interoperativenerve monitor and cortical stimulatorBenefits 300 patients Rs.11 lakhs ROTEM/Thromboelastoplasty equipment for critical care unitt/OTBenefits 200-300 patients per annum Rs 10 lakhs KEM HospitalSterlization( ethylene oxide gas sterilisation) Equipment Rs 28 Lakhs Canossa High School Rs 18 lakh • a.Computer Lab refurbishment of Computer Lab to replace 70 aging computers and workstations with brand new latest computers and ergonomic workstations., To provide E Library, Women empowerment and reaching out to the poorest • Caters to 2300 girl students and to 300 girl students from nearby areas thus bestowing them with computer literacy and life enabling skills • Old computers will be transferred to their school in a tribal area near Mumbai

Club Role : • MOST IMPORTANT HELP THE DISTRICT CREATE A DATABANK OF PROJECTS. • FILL IN A PROJECT DETAILS IN A SPECIAL FORMAT THAT IS BEING CREATED. • IF THERE IS A SPECIAL PROJECT THAT YOU OR YOUR CLUB MEMBERS HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT PUT IT ON PAPER !! • MAKE A SPECIAL TEAM WHICH WILL STAY CONSTANT FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS

Club Role : • Plan this Project within Six Area of Focus NOW • Sign MOU for CSR Grant (President/PE/IPP/Directors) • Email your projects to csrrotary3141@gmail.com • Keep safe your 80G Certificate, Trust Pan Card, Trust Balance Sheets, significant projects done in past or ongoing signature project. • Wait for CSR Team to find Partner

  12. CSR Grant: • Will work like simple form of District/ Global Grant, Club (President) need to plan the project within Six Area of Focus, CSR Team will find Corporate Fund to execute the Project. • Unlike Global Grant, Funds will be available for Construction and setting up facilities.

CSR Core Team Role: • TIE UP WITH CORPORATES • SHARE THEIR FOCUS AREAS WITH THE PRESIDENTS SO THAT THEY CAN PLAN PROJECTS AROUND THOSE AREAS • Encourage Presidents to plan Better, Bigger, and Bolder Projects • Find Corporates to fund the Projects listed by the Presidents and emailed to csrrotary3141@gmail.com

  14. CSR Core Team Role: • CSR Team Members + Club Presidents + CSR Funds = Mega Projects • EXPLAIN TO CORPORATES THE MULTIPLYING FACTOR OF ROTARY • TRY AND CLUB CSR FUNDS AND SHOW AS A TERM GIFT.

  15. CSR Admin Team : • Allocates fund stage wise to approved Projects • Ensures Stewardship from Clubs • Project supervision • Financial records review • Oversight of funds • Reporting irregularities • Timely submission of reports
