Take to class • erasable markers • 4 anthropological objects – raity, bow, tooth necklaces and wooden Rhea bird with palm seed ‘marble’ • PRINT and take 6 copies of the information that students have to fill about about each object: • This object comes from: 1) region of the world; 2) how old is the object; 3) what was it used for; 5) how did the individuals who contributed to making this object divide their labor?; 4) who used the object – men, women, children?; 5) based on your answers to 1-4, the individuals who made these objects were: sedentary or nomadic or both; members of small or large scale societies?

  2. Put students’ index cards grouped by teams on desks/tables PLACE ONE questionnaire in the middle of the team 1-4 sitting area
