  2. What is SCS? • We are a programming community at Concordia that organizes events such as coding nights, tutorials, guest speakers, and competitions. • We also bring people together who wish to work on programming related projects.

We have a list of available projects on which anyone can join and actively work on.

  5. Tutorials • Upcoming tutorial: Git Tutorial Tuesday September 16th 2014 6:00 pm The location will be announced on the SCS website, through the mailing list and on the Facebook group. • In the past years, we have done tutorials covering Android SDK and Java. Possible future tutorials include Python, C++, Twitter or FB API as well as Node.js. Your input is important to us, tell us which tutorials you want!

  6. Concordia 1st and 2nd Year Coding Competition Test your coding skills against other Concordia students at SCS’s 1st and 2nd year coding competition!

  7. The Computer Science Gamesis an annual computer science competition that includes challenges form all aspects of computing. Organized by students from different university every year, the competition typically attracts more than 30 teams (between 6 and 10 members per team) from universities from across North America, but primarily from Canada and northeastern United States. CS Games 2014 Concordia won 3rd place!
