  2. CAT Common Admission Test(CAT) is a national Level Examination for Management students for admission in IIMs and Other Top b-school. IIM Calcutta is the organiser of CAT.

  3. Eligibility criteria for Cat 2018 • Candidate must be 20 years old or more than that. • You must have aggregate 50% in any bachelor’s degree for the general and 45% for the SC, STand PWD category. • Some of the details which needs to be fill in the form like personal details, qualifications and so on for the CAT • Candidate who appearing in the final year of bachelor’s degree are eligible to sit for the Cat 2018.

  4. CAT 2018 application form • CAT application form can be filled through online mode only and on the official website • First, you need to log in onto the official website and register yourself with the valid email id and mobile number • IIM will send the login credentials through Email and SMS • Once the candidate receive the credentials, you can log into the application window and fill the form • It is advisable to review the form once it will be filled

  5. Application fee and exam centre • CAT Application fee is different for the categories. For general it’s 1900 and SC, ST and PWD it’s1000 • You can pay it either by debit card or credit card • It is expected to be conducted in 140 cities in the country • Candidates can fill the centre according to their preference

Cat exam pattern • CAT examination is divided into three parts • Quantitative aptitude • Data interpretation and logical reasoning • Verbal comprehension and learning • Verbal comprehension and logical reasoning consists of 34 questions and quantitative aptitude consists of 32 questions • It has to be attempted in 60 minutes for each section
