  3. Subway and strangers We seat with many strangers in a subway and we don't care anything about others. Others might be just strangers but our society consists of all of them and me.

  4. Canvas and relationship We are influenced by everyone around us. I’d like to express relationship between strangers by watercolor on a canvas.

  5. Project title Hello, strangers

  6. Project abstract This project is a video installation that compare society to watercolor on a canvas. When a passenger seat on subway, the watercolor spreads under the passenger’s feet.

  7. Design consept When a passenger seat on subway, the watercolor spreads under the passenger’s feet. Every passenger has different color. As time goes on, the watercolor image spreads more and more. The colors mix together. When the passenger left out, the color disappears gradually.

  8. Visual research with reference projects iBar, Touch Screen Bar A performance at subway, Vancouver

  9. Technology research projector switches I might use some switches, a projector, Arduino and Processing or Flash.
