History Jan Blahoslav • The original residential unit current Přerov was located on the left bank Bečva in Předmostí. • Archeological researchs found extensive housing development of mammoth hunters in 25 000 years ago. • The first written mention of Přerov was in 1141. • Přemysl Otakar II. made Přerov on a city in 1256. • Author of a czech grammar, famous native of Přerov, diplomat andeducationalist of the Unity of Brethren, Jan Blahoslav was born in 1526 in Přerov. • Jan Amos Komenský was his predecessor, teacher of nations, theologian, philosopher, studied in Přerov in the Unity of Brethren. • In 1887 was found museum J.A.Komenského.
