MINISTERIAL RESOLUTIONS FOR THE NATIONAL APPROVAL OF CDM PROJECT ACTIVITIES AND CDM PROGRAMMES OF ACTIVITIES-POA • Resolution 2733-2010 for CDM PoAs • Resolution 2734-2010 for CDM projectactivities Procedures: The Ministry has 20 days for the national approval process. Requirements: CDM PoAs: 10 are obligatory CDM Project Activities: 8 are obligatory Include: procedures, requirements and sustainabledevelopmentevidences. Sustainable development evidences: CDM PoAs and Project Activities: 2 out of 7 are obligatory

NATIONAL APPROVAL REQUIREMENTS OBLIGATORY REQUIREMENTS • Sectoral policy framework • Environmental regulation • Consultation with indigenous, afro descendent and Rom • Presentation and socialization of the CDM project activity/ PoA • -PPs have to present the proposed activity or PoA to local stakeholders • -PPs have to invite local stakeholders to provide comments on the proposed CDM project activity or PoA . • -PPs have to invite comments from local stakeholders in an open and transparent manner • Complaints, grievances and suggestions from the community JepirachiWindPower Project BRT Bogotá, Colombia: Transmilenio Phase II to IV

NATIONAL APPROVAL REQUIREMENTS OBLIGATORY REQUIREMENTS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT EVIDENCES (2 OUT OF 7) • Investments in local infrastructure, health, education, potable water and housing. • Local employment programs • Capacity building programs for local workers • Efficient technologies and systems to reduce the environmental impact • Technology transfer programs • Additional environmental impacts • Adaptation, risk management and/or vulnerability reduction actions PPs have to fulfill the sustainable development evidences after the CDM project/PoA registration, according Resolutions 2733 and 2734.   6. ¿HOW DOES THE DNA ENSURE THAT THOSE REQUIREMENTS ARE FOLLOWED BY PPS? • After the project registration a sustainable development monitoring takes place • Complaints, grievances and suggestions from the community are revised, as well as, the project sustainable development commitments • During 2014, 18 CDM projects with CERs issued have been under monitoring • In 2015, registered CDM projects/PoA will be monitored Curva de Rodas and La Pradera landfill gas managmentproject
