  1. Rick just wanted some new experiences… …but didn’t expect this.

  2. The protesters, politicians, and writers were all wrong.

  3. WAR is a lot scarier and worse than they said it was.

  5. Rick is in Vietnam with only his journal and his best friend Kent With the smell of dead bodies , burning forests, and agent orange, and the sight of things no humans should ever have to see, it is extremely difficult for Rick to live normally.

  6. Rick doesn't realize what he has gotten into until… …two of the guys on his squad die and… …his best friend, Kent, steps on a mine and gets his leg blown clean off!

  7. With his friend in some hospital in the states, and him being scared out of his mind, the big question is… Will he survive?
