  2. How to create a simple graphic for Passenger Choice Award Promotion: • Select a background: • This is identified by the light blue box on the example • This is a creative choice for the airline or CSP, but common sources could be existing IFE branding (idents/graphics) or GUI backgrounds • Background needs to be formatted to match aspect ratio requirements (4:3 or 16:9) • Place the PCA logo on the background • Set transparent colours to ensure smooth, curved edges • Lay out the required text. Sample wording shown on the example • Insert airline branding, if required. This could also be the IFE branding if preferred. • Completed graphic can then be output to the required format, depending on the intended use, for example within video compilations to be duplicated, or digital files for use on AVOD. In either case the producer or encoding specialist should be able to provide the required specifications. Suggested runtime for video use is between 5 and 10 seconds. • Multiple versions may have to be created for different system and different aspect ratios. • Multiple versions can also be created to present the text in multiple languages, or have the required languages cycle on the original version • This is just a very basic outline. It is up to airlines and their CSPs to make creative decisions regarding the use of special effects, animations, more complicated backgrounds, etc.
