  4. Find the singular noun or nouns in the following sentences. • The dog ran down the street. • An elephant is a huge animal. • That book fell on the floor. • Macungie Elementary School is awesome!

  6. A plural noun is a word that names more than one person, place, thing, or idea.

  7. Special Rules for Plural

  8. More Special Rules • Some nouns do not change at all (deer to deer, fish to fish) • Some nouns change into different words (child to children, goose to geese, person to people)

  9. Find the plural noun or nouns in the following sentences. • The jar was filled with pennies. • The students used passes in the hall. • There were fish in the water.

  10. Find the plural nouns! • The deer ran into the woods. • Did you see the people? • Where did the mice go? • My teeth are nice and clean. • The tornadoes ripped up the towns.
