ROMAC Global Grant Ken, was referred to ROMAC in February 2017, from the Solomon Islands, suffering fromserious heart conditions requiring urgent life-saving surgery. Ken suffered from rheumatic heart disease (RHD) with severe mitral regurgitation and required urgent surgery to repair his mitral valve.
ROMAC Global Grant Fidelcia, an 8-month old baby girl from Comoro in Timor-Leste. Significant PDA withcontrolled heart failure, failure to thrive and recurrent chest infectious.

ROMAC Global Grant Calnizio a baby boy from Timor- Leste was referred to ROMAC at 3-months. He appeared to have been successfully treated for otis media and meningitis, but an ultrasound showed he had developed obstructive hydrocephalus in the 3rd ventricle in the brain. This often occurs secondary to meningitis.
