Meadowlark Explorers program promotes responsible use of educational devices for enhanced classroom participation, engagement, and personalized learning experiences. Students access information, educational apps, and continue learning outside school. Fun and interactive learning environment lead to student success. Consequences include warnings and device shutdown for misuse. Simple rules: respect ownership, connect to school WiFi, follow teacher instructions.

Meadowlark Explorers • S-Students use the device for educational purpose only. • E-Everyone will always conduct him or herself responsibly online • A-All devices must always be used on the school’s WiFi network • R-Responsible use of devices is ALWAYS expected • C-Carefully follow instructions for device use • H-HAVE FUN

  2. Mobile Learning Community • Greater participation in the classroom • Students are quickly engaged • Continued learning outside of school • Ownership of learning • Access to research and information • Cool and exciting educational apps • Personalized learning • Students feel success

  4. Consequences • First offense-given a computer police WARNING. (conference with student) • Second offense- given a computer police BUSTED (shut down device) • Third offense- no device for a specific amount of time.

  5. Simple Rules • 1. Only the “owner” of the • device may touch • Connect to school WiFi. • No devices when there is a substitute. • Only visit approved websites • Put your device away when the teacher asks you to. • Put device in designated area.
