  3. EB & SRB Recoupment • Who is responsible? • Member’s chain of command, or • If a supported command through the PSD • Personnel Office or PSD will determine recoupment amount

  4. EB & SRB Recoupment • Reasons for Recoupment • Loss of NEC • Loss of Rate • Loss of Security Clearance • Loss of Submarine Qualification • Medical Reasons

  5. EB & SRB Recoupment • Pro-rated day for day • No 90-day rule • Establishing recoupment date • Date member loses eligibility • Date of discharge

  6. EB Recoupment Policy • Old Policy • Recouped within first four years • AND any required extension • Effective Now • Recouped in first four years*

  7. SRB Annual Installments • Reenlistments • Prior to 1 OCT 2012 • Paid on 1 OCT • After 1 OCT 2010 • Actual reenlistment anniversary

  8. SDAP • Back Pay • is not authorized • submissions after four months of effective date • requires approval by PERS-811 • NSIPS Modifications

  9. Officer Programs & SRB • Change: • Application date is the date the officer package is received by the Board.
