Citizen Committee Park Vision • Our vision for the park is to establish a source of community pride and a quality showplace destination for enjoyment, education and entertainment. • The park will serve today's outdoor recreational opportunities and allow future generations adequate space to establish additional quality outdoor options. • People using the park will enjoy accessible, safe, versatile and historical experiences in an easy-to-maintain and natural setting.

Status • Submitted the Citizen Plan to BRA/ Corps pending approval, anticipate April • Negotiated Agreement with BRA/ Corps, pending signatures at Corps anticipated June • Architect responses due March 15 for Pavilion/ Restroom Design • Corps complete acquisition/ demolition, anticipate July • BRA supply park funding ( 3 payments- $500,000 July, $500,000 December, $300,000 in 2014) • Build Park (October 2013 through June 2014) • Open Summer 2014
