  2. Ever Wondered…. • If you could pick and choose just two or three residents to appear or print on a report? • If you could change the order of a report? • If the report could prompt other questions at run time? • How to get a report to show answers to a new series?

  3. Report Essentials • Sample Report • Highlight report. Click “Sample” • “Ask At Run Time” Fields • All / Custom / Select • “From” and “To” Values • View report • Toggle • Print % • Print / Printer setup

  4. Report Essentials Report Properties • Current Selections * New * Edit * Delete • Order By • Send To: (version 4.0) • Display in Summary

  6. Report Properties Add a new question at “Ask at Run Time”. • Resident Master List • Add Location Selection • Missed Observation • Add Location Selection

  7. Presidential Village ExerciseAdd new “Ask at Run Time” question • Highlight Resident Master List. Right-click Properties. • Click on “Edit”, then “New Selection” • Available Fields: “Resident Location” • Exclude: No • Ask at Run time: Yes • Run report to screen for Location “North Wing” only.

Right click to Properties. • Click on “Resident Location Ask at Runtime” • Right click and choose “Delete Selection”. 2. Delete “Ask at Run time” for Missed Observations. • Highlight Missed Observations. Right click to Properties. • Click on “Resident Location Ask at Runtime” • Right click and choose “Delete Selection”.

  16. TIPS for Report Changes 1. Copy a report to FAVORITES folder to find fast. 2. Copy a report before making changes. Online Help –To Customize a Report. 3. Customized report properties may be needed for new or edited series in order to view data. (Bathing Type) 4. If you are always “sorting through” data in a report, try customizing properties to see only data you want.
