  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! • Welcome to God’s house on this day of remembrance! Today we celebrate “Saints Triumphant” Sunday as we remember beloved family and friends who have gone home to heaven. The large Paschal candle we light today in church symbolizes Christ’s victory over death and his promise of glory to all who believe in him.

  7. OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
