This year: • Dues are $20 and are due by 10/24– checks made out to THS, must give to Ms. B • will cover cords for seniors • t-shirts (to be worn at volunteer events) • club funds • Must have 5 hours of service by the end of EACH quarter • tracking though Volunteer Loudoun & CMS (details to come) • hours will only count if tracked through Volunteer Loudoun AND CMS method • sign in sheets at each event • If requirements are met, trip to DC in the spring, half the day volunteering, the other half structured free time • This years meetings are on: 10/24, 11/14, 12/12, 1/30, 2/13, 3/27, 4/24, 5/15 • if you are unable to attend a meeting email tuscaroraNHS@gmail.com with your excuse

Constitution/new members/ initiation • Constitution Committee • Before the end of October • TBD: before or after school or during FLEX (flexible) • 2 general body/non-exec members to sit on the Constitution writing committee • *good if you want to go into law • Initiation of new members into National Honor Society (REQUIRED!! Attendance taken) • Nov. 12th during advisory/flex; • Set-up and Clean-up of the library for the reception • distributers of programs and ushers • Project Chair: Chiara, Jess, Julia

All Ages Read Together • Prepares children for success in Kindergarten and beyond to low and moderate income pre-school aged children • September 28 • Shift One: 3:00-6:30 • Set up • 8 students • Shift Two: 6:30-10 • Take down • 8 students • Project Chair: Sandy Shihadeh • Address: River Farm Stables, River Farm Lane Leesburg VA 20176 • Food is provided

Tutoring SLED Smarts Mill Homework club Help 7th graders with their homework in different subjects October 9th October 16th 3:30-4:40 Smarts Mill Middle Project chair: Julianne Waldo • Assist 9th-12th graders at THS with homework • Tuesday and Thursday each week • 4-6 • Project Chair: Mr. Blair & Mrs. Smiley
