Rafael Jovet-Ramos was a valued member of the military for nineteen years, offering dedication and an excellent record of service.
Throughout his career in the Army, Major Rafael Jovet-Ramos has sought to improve himself through higher education. He earned his first degree in Business Administration in Human Resources at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, followed by a Masters in Business Administration from Trident University International. He is currently working towards a Masters of Science in Sports Management at Southern New Hampshire University. As an officer, he furthered his education, obtaining a Masters of Business Administration in Logistics to enhance his job skills as Director of Operations on the Army’s Logistics Task Force.
Rafael Jovet-Ramos has practiced martial arts for the past fifteen years and has black belts in Judo, Taekwondo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is a certified instructor for both Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has taught these disciplines throughout the globe while serving in the military. He is currently Program Director for Rafael Family Mixed Martial Arts Academy and Head Instructor at Gracie Barra Spring Lake in Spring Lake, North Carolina.
Making A Difference in the Community
Rafael Jovet-Ramos is a respected member of the community in Springs Lake, North Carolina where is an active member of the Northwood Temple Church, an Adult Leader and volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America and the Program Director at Rafael Family Mixed Martial Arts Academy. Spending time with his family and in the outdoors are his most cherished activities. Giving back to your community through volunteering is one of the best ways to have an impact on those in need close to home. Those living busy lives filled with work obligations, school and social commitments may feel that making time to volunteer just isn't possible.
