  5. JDT focus • Support to GoSS key priority areas & budget sector working groups • Working through the MDTF (South) as key support mechanism • Complementary bilateral programmes – integrated approach • Priorities: governance/ PFM/ rule of law; security sector; basic services.

  6. Key priorities for JDT • Ensuring rapid office set up (by May 06) • Effective partnership & policy dialogue with GoSS • Coherent links with other dev. partners • Speeding up the pace of delivery • Partnership with unified voice & systems • Real reduction of transaction costs
