What does the organization do for me? • Guides the practice of nursing by making decisions about the functions, activities, and goals of the nursing profession • Provides a political action arm to promote the nursing agenda • It is a voice for nurses because it acts on issues identified by its members • Ensures that the public need for nursing is met
