Using Tú and Usted (Ud.) • What is the meaning of tú? • You, familiar • Used with friends, peers, someone you know • What is the meaning of ud.? • You, formal • Used with adults, people you don’t know • What is the ending for verbs in the tú form? • -as (ej: bailas, practicas, caminas) • What is the ending for verbs in the ud. form? • -a (ej: baila, practica, camina)
