  2. Paste Excel data into other programs. If you have a section of an Excel worksheet that you would like to add to a Word document, to an email, or even to a PowerPoint presentation, there are a couple of ways to do it.

  3. Paste Excel data into other programs. The simple and quick way... is to select the cells you want to copy by holding down the left mouse button until you have dragged your cursor from the upper left to the lower right of the block of cells you want to copy.

  5. Paste Excel data into other programs. and press the “C” key to copy the group of cells you had selected.

  6. Paste Excel data into other programs. Go to the place where you want to paste the cells... put your cursor where you want the cells inserted... hold down the “Control” key again...

  8. Paste Excel data into other programs. The only drawback with this “quick copy” method is that you get exactly what you copied and you can’t change the look of the cells as much as you could if they were copied as a picture.

  12. Paste Excel data into other programs. Holding down the “Shift” key puts a “Copy Picture” choice on the drop-down menu that wouldn’t be there otherwise. So click “Copy Picture”.
