  1. PULSE OF POULATION: AREA SPECIFIC 1. Area Now to Buglindear 1.1 All praising Army 1.2 Namdard & Sarpanch focusing on girl’s education. 2. Area Bagtore, Izmarg. 2.1 People support to NC. 2.2 Total 149 Bakerwals came time between area Tragbal to Kargbal & 80 Bakerwals returned back as of now. 3.   2. GUREZ INT DET 1. Sentiment Analysis 1.1 Gen peaceful a with decent foot fall of tourists this yr. However, due to Pulwama attack the influx of tourists got disturbed considerably. Local tourists frequenting in Gurez valley flow. 1.2 The population of Gurez bowl can be majorly divided into Bandipora, Gurez valley & Tulail. Bandipora & valley has urban population comprising businessmen, shopkeepers & civil adm employees. Tulail area comprising rural population engaged in farming, construction employees, local porters with local units. 1.3 The area has population of Gujjars & Bakerwals. Gujjars are predominantly local population residing in area of Tragbal, Bandipora and outskirts of Bandipora. Bakerwals are migratory in nature with their own dhoks in Zadkhun, Chorwan, izmarg & villages of Tulail area. They primarily hail from Rajouri in month of May–June and stay in Gurez bowl. Till late November and subsequently mov Deras from Gurez to Rajori in Phased manner. The dynamic of Gujjars & Bakerwals remain strained being grasslands for cattle remain in demand for both communities. (There has been incident of clashes & unresolved issues between both communities) 1.4 Gurezies as community known for their rich cultural ties and known to be migrated from Gilgit Baltisna region of Pak. The language and culture is known as Shia.   4. LIKELY SAULT LINES 1. Large extended area of 80 km – valley floor remains narrow & hence provide good crossing sites for infiltrating column. Specially in area of Izmarg, Naushera Nar & Minimarg. Any crossing in these areas will conveniently give access of Bandipora to infiltrating tracks. 1.1 Scattered population centers – The area has around 62 villages & there will be lots of gaps where the mov of trt can be easily carried out. 1.2 Nallas & distributaries – The area primarily east of Dawar is interspersed by water bodies, nallas & distributaries.
