Explain the quote means about what what a “steward of creation” is and what they would do **Some people argue that Gen 1 “rule over the earth” means we can treat the earth however we want. Is this a correct understanding of Bible teaching? Why/ why not? Stewardship of Creation To define the key term stewardship (AT1:L3) To explain why and how Christians have a responsibility to look after the environment with examples. (AT1:L4/5) To evaluate how effective we have been as stewards so far (AT2:L6) GENESIS 1 “Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground”. GENESIS 2 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. A steward of creation is someone who cares for the earth and protects it
