  3. The Virtual Challenge • On Monday each class took part in 3 challenges • 1. Standing long jump • 2. Target throw (throwing 9 beanbags into one of 3 hoops at increasing distances away from the starting position to score as many points as they could) • 3. Shuttle run

  4. Golf We invited Zoe Wright form Bicester Golf and Spa in on Tuesday to teach all the children how to use a club to hit a ball….

  5. Sports day This year we added a cultural element to our Sports day and each house represented a Commonwealth country… The School Council chosered house to represent Tonga, blue house represented St Lucia and green house Nigeria. The children said they felt proud as they followed their flag out in the opening ceremony set to music…

  6. Well done to the Green House/ Nigeria who were the overall winners.

  7. On Friday the FSU and key stage 1 children enjoyed a rugby taster session with Mr Hutchinson….

  8. Celebration Assembly On Friday we heard about what each class had enjoyed and had been learning about in Sport week. Aside from all the sport, the children also learnt about the World Cup and Brazil.

  9. Rounders The rain just about held off to allow us to finish off the week with house rounders competition. Key stage 1 and the F1’s played kick rounders and key stage 2 played ordinary school rounders. Well done red house who were victorious in both tournaments!
