  2. What is learning? WHAT IS ACQUISITION ? • Acquisition means something acquired. • Learning is the lifelong process of transforming information and experience into knowledge, skills, behaviors, and attitudes.

  3. What is learning? • Lifelong • Taking İnterest • Asking Questions • Discussion and İnquiry • Hand-on • Demonstrating and Understanding

  4. language learning • The form is greater importance than communication. • The concept of language learning is linked to the traditional approach to the study of languages. • The teacher is an authority figure and the participation of the student is predominantly passive.

  5. Language acquisition • Language acquisition refers to the process of natural assimilation and subconscious learning. • The acquisition approach praises the communicative act and develops self-confidence in the learner.

  6. What is the interrelationship between learning and acquisition • LEARNING is important in the mastering of a language. The student needs to learn grammar, vocabulary, and expressions to be able to speak correctly. • ACQUISITION of the language is essential to be able to use it in practical situations.

  7. One of them is not enough to speak correctly.. • Students cannot use their knowledge in conversation. • Students cannot speak grammatically correct a language.

  8. The best way is... • Students can speak correctly and functionally... • Students can acquire conversational abilities rapidly and effectively.
