It is pretty easy for those of us that like to tinker with technology to lose sight of the real value of our work… which is to organize and catalogue all that fantastic data and information so that our experts can both convey that information to other stakeholders and work with the stakeholder team to produce wise decisions.

  7. The mission of the EPA – To protect human health and the environment – can be done without computers and technology... but where’s the fun in that! Our customers are both internal and external, but the bottom line is…

  8. …they don’t care about what we care about, unless… we care about what they care about. They care about data and knowledge, not gigabytes and 100GB transmission rates.

  11. One big collection of data and information is the EPA website. Over the past two years, R4 SF has been preparing for WCMS and now for One EPA One of the activities we’ve undertaken is to move all of our Site Summary pages to a standard format
