  1. Knowing What You’re Worth

  2. People will treat you based on how cheaply you sell yourself, don't sell yourself short. Set your value according to how God values you. The devil doesn't want you to have a sense of value for yourself.

  3. When you pay a premium for something , you will have a greater Respect for it than you would have, if you got it cheaply.

  4. Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) 23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

  5. The Pursuit of Happiness

  6. Entering into God's rest is much better than waiting. • When you are at rest you are confident that God is helping You. • He arranges circumstances for You to meet that special person.

  7. To really be fulfilled in life you have to find the ONE, and the ONE is JESUS. Your partner is your number TWO

  8. Pursuing marriage more than pursuing God is idolatry

  9. Exodus 34:14 (NLT) 14 You must worship no other gods, for the Lord, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you.

  10. Anytime your marriage is not where it's suppose to be, chances are likely that you are looking for your partner to meet some need, that only God can.

  11. Today's philosophy of relationships is far beneath God's standards. • Meeting somebody halfway is 50/50. • Meeting your partner is not holding anything back, 100/100.

  12. God wants to be Number 1 in your life.

  13. You both need to have Jesus in common more than anything else. • A successful marriage is 2 wholes coming together, not 1 half looking for their other half.

  14. Can you serve God better together than when you are apart? • If so: Psalm 34:3 (NLT) 3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness;let us exalt his name together.

  15. Becoming The One

  16. The bible teaches how to be the right person rather than how to find the right person. • Instead of finding the one, we should work on being the right one.

  17. Are You who the person You are looking for is looking for?

  18. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NLT) 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

  19. Love Is Patient

  21. Love Does Not Envy

  22. Love Does Not Boast, It Is Not Proud

  23. Love Does Not Dishonour Others

  24. 1 Corinthians 13:11 (NLT) 11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.

  25. When Looking For Your Partner…

  26. God presents to us choices but you should involve Him in your decision. • God will never choose for You.

  27. Are you willing to compromise your belief in God for a guy or girl? • If someone can resist Jesus, who is perfectly beautiful, how much more will they reject you in the future, you who are imperfectly beautiful? • A girl wants a priest not a smooth talker.

  28. If you compromise Jesus for a partner you could probably jeopardise their salvation.

  29. 2 Corinthians 6:14 (NLT) The Temple of the Living God 14 Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?

  43. Leave to cleave Genesis 2:24 (NLT) 24 This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. • The real dating should begin after marriage • Why do couples ignore each other at times?

  44. A man's need for respect is just as strong as a woman's need to connect or feel loved. • Take an interest in what your spouse is interested in, even if it doesn't interest you.
