  2. RULES AND REGULATIONS • 1. Competitors and public enter grounds at their own risk. • 2. No entries accepted without Entry Fees. • 3. Pony Events: Maiden events are open to ponies that have not wonfirst prize at any affiliated Sports Meeting or A. & P. Show or Mini Show. • 4. Substitution under R.A.S. Rules. • 5. Maiden Combination – Combination has not won a first prize in any unit or • combination class at A&P Show, Sports or Mini Show. • 6. Protest Committee - President, Marshall of Section and Secretary. • 7. Height Certificates will be required in all height classes. • 8. Entry Fees refunded less 25% if notified by 1.00 pm 15th November 2013 for all equestrian events at the discretion of the committee. • 9. The judges decision will be final. • 10. There shall be five or more entries in each class or no third prize.Four entries or no second prize. • 11. The Committee reserves the right to alter classes or prize money where it sees fit or give products in lieu of prize money or combine classes. • 12. No stock will be permitted to roam the grounds unattended. • 13. Purebred and Grade stock may be entered. • 14. Exhibitors may have as many entries in each class as they wish. • 15. EQUESTRIAN SECTION. LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED TO 13th November at 50% extra. Entries phoned or post marked after this date, even with 50% extra, will NOT be accepted. Phone entries – money must be in Secretary’s hands by 13th November. • NO ENTRIES ON DAY • 16. Jumping events -. We ask for all competitor's co-operation with Marshals. N.B. Starting times. • 17. Any person abusing any official or animal on the ground will be asked to leave the grounds and forfeit any entry fee. • 18. Protests must be made in writing with the sum of $50 (which will be refunded if upheld) within 30 minutes of the event • 19. Horse box and paddock fee for overnight stays to be paid with entries - • $14 boxes and covered yards; $10 yards • 20. Pony Section, riders under 17 years. • 21. All cattle must have a T.B. Status which is obtainable from MAF. • 22. Children must compete in correct age or year classes. • Snaffle bits will be given preference in judging pony classes. • Dress in Kindergarten, First Ridden and Pony Classes – Pony Club sweat shirts or jackets optional. • O.C. may refuse any entry without giving reason • Classes cannot be held up for competitors in other sections. • Ponies 148cm and under, Hacks and Hunters over 148cm. • Equestrian only – 5 entries or less prize money will be halved • KINDERGARTEN CLASSES • LEAD REIN • Rider 7yrs and under.
