  1. It’s Time to Play!!! Pick a Color! “ee” and “ea”

  2. Instructions • Pass out to each student a whiteboard, marker, eraser, and plastic cup. The cup will be used to collect their counters. (points) • For each group of kids, a bucket of counters for them to pull from during play. • The teacher will pick on any student to have them pick an available color from the game board. • Each color will have three clues before the answer is revealed. • If the student gets the answer correct after • One clue they will get 3 points + 1 point if they spell the word correctly • Two clues they will get 2 points + 1 point if they spell the word correctly • Three clues they will get 1 point + 1 point if they spell the word correctly • When the student has figured out the answer to the riddle they should write down their answer on the whiteboard and write down how many points they will get if they answer correctly. The whiteboard should then be faced down so that other students can not copy their answers. Once the whiteboard is faced down, they may not pick up their boards until the end of the round. The teacher should give time for the students to write down their answers before moving onto the next clue. • When all the clues have been revealed, then the students will hold up their boards for the teacher to do a quick scan for correct answers. The students should then take the number of counters to match the point total that they won in that round. • Students will lose points for making bad choices.
