  7. Europeanhealthinsurancecard (1) (28+Iceland, Liechtenstein, NorwayandSwitzerland) • You have it from your home country (you cannot get it from Estonia)

  8. European health insurance card (2) • Substitute certificate of an EU health insurance card (form E128) • Always have the EHIC with you in case you need medical help in the EU!

  9. European health insurance card (3) Ensures medical care on similar conditions as for Estonian citizens: • Planned treatments cannot be carried out in the limits of the EU health card (e.g. planned surgeries); • Healthcare is (mostly) free for you; still at your first visit to a specialist you have to pay a fee up to 5 EUR; • Prescribed medications are cheaper; • Dental care for adults is not free in Estonia.
