  1. ABOUT NRVIA RV INSPECTIONS Buying a recreational vehicle is a significant financial commitment for most people. Whether you are looking to spend $500 or $500,000 on a NEW or USED RV, you have a responsibility to fully understand the state of the vehicle you are considering purchasing. A professional evaluating a property or car before buying it is standard practice. There is a good chance that it won't. Pre-buy or at least post-purchase evaluations should be considered for any RV purchase, regardless of size, style, or price. Travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes of all sizes and classes are all highly complex machines that are put through their paces every time they hit the road. When buying a new RV from a dealer, don't assume that it's problem-free just because it's new. Components may get mis-installed or miswired during production, and mistakes may be missed. Before spending your hard-earned money on a recreational vehicle, whether new or second-hand, savvy consumers should consider getting an examination from experienced professionals.

  2. Do you know how to check and troubleshoot the RV's various electrical systems? Why all the many kinds of water infrastructure? Where to search for electrical dangers and what to do if you find one. Have you been trained to recognise the warning signs of water damage? Where to check for flaws in the security features These are just some of the many RV system components, functions, and safety features that can be evaluated during a professional RV inspection. NRVIA RV Inspectors Are considered to be the most efficient RV inspectors. How to apply as an RV Inspector? You can enrol in a self-paced online programme consisting of videos, quizzes, and tests that you can access from anywhere with an internet connection. Each inspector who joins NRVIA and pays the membership fee will have access to the online training materials, which include a mandatory course in Business Development. The inspector will be recognised as an NRVIA Certified RV Inspector once they have completed the required training and examinations. You can sign up for a training programme approved by the NRVIA and receive the training and business development course in a traditional classroom format. The same testing standards as the online version of the course are in place here, but in a practical form. Every year, NRVIA RV Inspectors must renew their certification. Beginning in the second year of membership, they must complete 24 hours of continuing education.

  3. About NRVIA The National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA) was formed to promote a better understanding of the value of thorough RV inspections and to elevate the standards of professionalism among RV inspectors. To address the members' needs and advance the RV inspection industry, they develop and disseminate standards for the inspection of recreational vehicles and offer the training programmes inspectors require to succeed. When buying a new RV from a dealer, don't assume that it's problem-free just because it's new. Components may be mis-installed or miswired during production, and mistakes may be missed. Their mission is to establish a North American-wide organisation of qualified RV inspectors who have passed a rigorous certification exam in order to guarantee that buyers are dealing with qualified professionals.
