  2. Repatriation:- is the process of returning a person back to one's place of origin. This includes the process of returning refugees Illegal immigrants are frequently repatriated as a matter of government policy. Those who would go further suggest measures of voluntary repatriation, with financial assistance (there have been schemes of this kind), and also measures of compulsory repatriation

REINTEGRATION Upon establishment on the 1st of July 2009, the process of Issuing the Work Visa and entirely related work had been done under the supervision of the Expatriate Monitoring and Repatriation Division of Department of Immigration and Emigration which was formerly handled by the Ministry of Human Resources, Youth and Sports. A specified ‘‘employment approval’’ which is given by the Ministry is compulsory in order to attain the work visa and shall only be issued to such bearers. For foreigners currently working under the work permit card, the time interval for validity of the work visa would be based on the validity duration left on the foreigners work permit card

  4. VOLUNTARY RETURN AND REINTEGRATION For 40 Thousand illegal workers , the ideal durable solution is to return home to home to a familiar and own culture; home to the family residence. Maldives Immigration now tried a lot to send them back their home country, to make them back to normal with their family to live after we find most of the illegal workers having difficulty to live and to earn from employer. In addition Department of Immigration & Emigration to providing return assistance, legal aid and psychological support to returnees.
