  2. Special Experiences The Rugby Association has arranged for a number of special experiences to be available in the Back To Newington Day silent Auction. These include: • First XV for a Day • SCG Member Passes • Beach House Weekend www.myminiauction.com/newingtoncollegepandf

  3. First XV For A Day Join supercoach Brad Gill and be a member of the First XV on a match day during the 2015 season. Join the team in the dressing rooms and for the pre-game warm up. Sit with the coaching staff on the sideline during the game. A once in a lifetime experience.

  4. SCG Member Passes A rare opportunity to watch the first day of the Sydney cricket test match from the Members Pavilion at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The Rugby Association have four passes to the SCG Members Pavilion for the First Day of the cricket test against India.

  5. Beach House Weekend Located across the road from the beach and lagoon, this family home sleeps 10. The house has a private courtyard. Living area is downstairs with a lounge room, dining room, kitchen, and one bedroom with a queen bed and large ensuite with a bath. Laundry plus an extra toilet downstairs. Bedroom 2 upstairs has a queen bed, bedroom 3 has two singles beds and bedroom 4 has one set of bunks. There is a 3 way bathroom. There is another Television upstairs as well as one downstairs - Downstairs television has Foxtel. Blue Ray DVD and XBox.

Rugby Coaching Experience The Rugby Association has arranged for Wallaby Great Simon Poidevin a number of our young rising rugby stars to run coaching sessions for your son’s College or Club rugby team. This is a rare opportunity for your son to work first hand with the budding champions of our recent past First XV’s and learn from their experiences.

Rugby Coaching ExperienceHugh Roach and Joel Luani Hugh Roach • Hooker • 3 Years Newington 1st XV • 2010 GPS Champions • 2 Years Australian Schoolboys • Most Capped Australian Schoolboy • 2 Years Australian Under 20s • Shute Shield Rookie of the Year • 2014 Shute Shield 1st Grade Premiers (Eastwood) • Western Sydney Rams • NSW Waratahs • Youngest Australian to ever play against British Lions Joel Luani • Number 8 • 3 Years Newington 1st XV • 2010 GPS Champions • Australian Schoolboys • Wests Tigers 1st Grade (NRL) Hugh and Joel both played three in the Newington First XV and led the 2010 team to a GPS Championship. They have both gone on the achieve higher honours in both rugby union and rugby league. Have them jointly run a training session for your son’s rugby team.

Rugby Coaching ExperienceBen Volavola Ben Volavola • Fly Half/Fullback • Newington 1st XV • Shute Shield 1st Grade in Year 12 (West Harbour) • 2 Years Australian Under 20s • 2 Shute Shield 1st Grade Grand Finals (Southern Districts) • Western Sydney Rams • NSW Waratahs A talented fullback or fly half, Ben Volavola represented the Australian Under 20s at two Junior Rugby World Cups. He is one of the NSW Waratahs rising stars, being a member of the main Waratahs squad in 2013 and 2014. Have him run a training session for your son’s rugby team.

Rugby Coaching ExperienceTepai Moeroa Tepai Moeroa • Centre • 2 Years Newington 1st XV • 2012 GPS Champions and 2013 GPS Premiers • Australian Schoolboys • Parramatta Eels First Grade (NRL) A hard running centre in his school days, Tepai played for the Australian Schoolboys in 2012 and 2013. Tepai is now playing first grade rugby league for Parramatta and is one of that clubs rising stars. Have him run a training session for your son’s rugby team.

Rugby Coaching ExperienceAllan Alaalatoa Allan Alaalatoa • Front Row • 3 Years Newington 1st XV • 2010 GPS Champions • Australian Schoolboys • 2 Years Australian Under 20s • Shute Shield 1st Grade (West Harbour) • University of Canberra Vikings • ACT Brumbies Allan played for the Australian Schoolboys and went on to represent the Australian Under 20s at two Junior Rugby World Cups. A fulltime member of the ACT Brumbies Super Rugby squad, Allan has an enormous future in rugby. Have him run a training session for your son’s rugby team.

Rugby Coaching ExperienceMichael Alaalatoa Michael Alaalatoa • Front Row • 3 Years Newington 1st XV • Samoan Under 20s • Shute Shield 1st Grade (West Harbour) • NSW Country Eagles • NSW Waratahs The older (and bigger) brother of Allan Alaalatoa, Michael played three years in the Newington First XV and went on to represent Samoa at the Junior Rugby World Cup. Michael was a member of the NSW Waratahs in 2014 and has a big future in the game. Have him run a training session for your son’s rugby team.

Rugby Coaching ExperienceNathan Roye Nathan Roye • Wing • 3 Years Newington 1st XV • 2010 GPS Champions • Australian Schoolboys • Shute Shield 1st Grade (Randwick) Big, fast and skilful, Nathan played three years in the Newington First XV and represented the Australian Schoolboys. Nathan was a regular first grader with Randwick in the 2014 Shute Shield. Have him run a training session for your son’s rugby team.

Rugby Coaching ExperienceBrogan Roods Brogan Roods • Centre • 3 Years Newington 1st XV • 2010 GPS Champions • Australian Schoolboys • Shute Shield 1st Grade (Randwick) A fast and talented centre, Brogan played three years in the Newington First XV and represented the Australian Schoolboys. Brogan was a regular first grader with Randwick in the 2014 Shute Shield. Have him run a training session for your son’s rugby team.

Rugby Coaching ExperienceDavid Vea David Vea • Hooker • 2 Years Newington 1st XV • Captain 2012 GPS Champions • NSW Schoolboys • Australian Under 20s • Randwick 1st Grade Colts (2014 Premiers) David was in the Newington First XV in 2011 and 2012. He was Captain of Rugby in 2012 and led the team to a GPS Championship. David represent the Australian Under 20s at the 2014 Junior Rugby World Cup and was a member of the Randwick First Grade Colts which won the 2014 Premiership. Have him run a training session for your son’s rugby team.
