  1. UPDATES ONIPv6 DEPLOYMENT IN VIETNAM VIETNAM INTERNET NETWORK INFORMATION CENTER

Establishment of IPv6 Task force • 06TH Jan 2009: Establishment of IPv6 Task Force of Vietnam with members coming from relating departments under MIC, relevant industries and major ISPs, headed by 1st deputy Minister of Information and Communication. VNNIC takes a role as a standing committee of the TF. • Jan 2009: Launch the website of TF at http://IPv6.vn, providing information about the activities of TF and IPv6 deployment. • By the end of 2009: Final version of “National action plan on IPv6” completed with the involvement of all TF members, Major ISPs. It’s now submitted to the Minister for approval • All ISPs are required to build their own action plan to adapt with National action plan and their circumstances.
