  5. Oasis Bangladesh Lovely (also known as Angela) has been working with Oasis for around 8 years. She is married and has a little girl. She loves working with the girls at the Duaripara Project. Our Oasis Global Partner is

What does Lovely and her team do? • Just like Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue works to help you to be the best that you can be, Oasis Bangladesh is doing the same in Dhaka, the capital city. • Oasis Bangladesh works with some of the poorest people in the country to help them reach their full-potential.

  7. Oasis Bangladesh Projects • We work in a very poor part of Dhaka – in a place called Duaripara. We help girls to be able to go to school and we help their families to keep healthy and earn a better income. • We help girls who have been sent to work in India to come back home to Bangladesh. • We are planning to start some community work in the rural north of the country.

  10. Where is Bangladesh? • Bangladesh is a country in South Asia. It is bordered by India and Burma and faces the Bay of Bengal to its south. • It has a very large population of over 161 million, compared to the UK which has 60 million people. • About 5,000 miles away from the UK

N.New people , places, cultures, friendships. E. Encourage one another to reach our full potential. R.Regular contact, class letters, visits from Global partner, newsletters….. S.Sharing ideas, letters, resources, …… H.Helping each other learn, from growing plants to learning new songs! I.Inspiring! New ideas, new ways of doing things. P.Practical projects. Telling others, raising money, collecting things to share…..
