MISSION Our mission is to: • Create new ideas by organizing conferences that involve examples of mega engineering in order to create “mega experiences” and to improve the quality of civil engineering in every possible aspect (building, foundations, water management, administration). • Motivate current and future civil engineers to thing big. • Create real experiences, and make the adequate space where the partaker can apply his/her knowledge learned in class.

  4. VISION • A big scale structure can potentiate humankind’s capacity to build designs that overtake in all possible ways buildings around it. • Mega engineering projects are a big challenge, so that’s the reason why we want to motivate the attendants to go forward, and we want to create a “mega experiences” culture beyond limits.

  5. GENERAL INFORMATION October 25th and 26th, 2012 ITESM Campus Monterrey www.edifica.mx • There will be Conferences, visits to important buildings and construction sites, contests, panel discussions and workshops, so attendants will have a full-time experience about this years congress.

  6. Statistics Last year we had • 450 attendants from ITESM campus Monterrey • 200 attendants from other different colleges.

  7. What do we do with the income of this event? • Scholarships for low-resources students. • Finance students projects. • Improve year by year our conferences. • Improve technology level in Mexico.
