  1. Chad Christian Clift Best Day Trips from Seattle Chad Christian Clift is a chef who has lived in the Seattle area for most of his life. One of his favorite hobbies is traveling, but it is not always practical to take a long vacation to a far-off destination. Clift has found that his favorite way to fit travel into his regular routine is to take day trips or weekend trips. These shorter trips allow him to visit a new destination without a huge time commitment or financial investment. Chef Chad Christian Clift loves to travel in his free time, and has explored many interesting places around the world throughout his lifetime Here are some of Clift’s favorite day trip destinations. - Portland, Oregon is just a three-hour drive away from Seattle, and it is a fun and unique city with plenty of exciting things to do. The city is particularly known for its’ bars and restaurants, as well as unique shopping opportunities and a thriving music scene. Vancouver has a thriving film industry, which has attracted many creative types to the city. Americans will need a passport to cross the Canadian border and visit this beautiful city. - Spokane, Washington is a four-and-a-half-hour drive from Seattle, and it is a small but vibrant city with plenty to do, including many museums, festivals, and sporting events. There is also plenty of hiking and other outdoor activities in Spokane, making it a fun destination for nature enthusiasts. - For those who want to immerse themselves in nature, Olympic National Park is the perfect place to do it. Just a two-hour drive from Seattle, this beautiful mountainous park offers skiing, hiking, camping, and more. The beautiful views alone make this trip well worth it for those who love the great outdoors. - There are many great coastal towns in Washington that are just a short drive away from Seattle. Some favorites include Friday Harbor, Westport, and Langley, just to name a few. All of these coastal towns offer picturesque views, as well as plenty of good food and fun things to do.
