The SAFF 1 • 4 sections: • Contract tuition • Stipend • Residency Differential (DGS) • “Other” payments • “Smart” form – it only shows relevant sections Office of Graduate & Professional Education
The SAFF • Smart form – recognizes if you’ve already prepared a contract (GSCRF) for this student • Shows the terms associated with this contract • Just select the terms you want to fund (by checking the checkboxes) • Same for a stipend – if you’ve prepared a contract (GSCRF) for this student that includes a stipend, this section will appear • If ready distribute the funding for the stipend, click the radio button
Non-Resident--No contract • No GSCRF • No SAFF needed unless paying “other amount” • The DGS section will not appear on the form Office of Graduate & Professional Education
Non-Resident—100% tuition contract with stipend and not on a grant • GSCRF • SAFF—pay tuition from as many departmental purpose codes as you like • The DGS section will not appear on the form • “Other” does appear but may leave it unanswered Office of Graduate & Professional Education

Deadlines • Need SAFF by July 8th—if at all possible—THANKS!! • Only the SAFF forms approved by July 11th will pay the student’s tuition on their billing statement • Bills are only generated on July 11th if the student has registered • ADMN 560 or 561 is a registration—this comes from the GSCRF • If no SAFF and if ADMN 560 or 561 has been registered by the GSCRF, the student’s bill will show the total amount due
