SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES THAT COME ENHANCE GROSS MOTOR SKILLS ARE CRAWLING, REACHING, STANDING, WALKING, LIFTING THINGS, OR THROWING OBJECTS. ALL THESE ACTIVITIES ARE CALLED GROSS MOTOR ACTIVITIES. AT 3 MONTHS OF AGE, BABIES SHOULD BE GIVEN TUMMY TIME TO STRENGTHEN THEIR ABDOMINAL MUSCLES, AND THEY LEARN TO LIFT THEIR HEAD UP.
