  1. Types Of Car Ac Refrigerant Gas There is more than one kind of air conditioning coolant, confusing users as to what one to use in their cars. AC systems are designed to run with one specific kind of refrigerant, and may not run at all if you attempt to use another. For this reason, it is important to know the three different types of refrigerants, so that you can buy the correct refrigerant replacement for your car. Your cars or trucks air-conditioning system is a complicated system, and runs on one of three different types of refrigerants, the most likely being the refrigerant R134a. It is provided by Freon Gas Suppliers in UAE. Whether a leakage or anything else is causing your air conditioning unit to require recharge, make sure you are using the correct type of Freezing Gas according to your cars model and year of vehicle in order to ensure that your system is running properly. Be sure to check the owner’s manual to see which refrigerant is used in your vehicle before getting the system serviced. Remember, using the wrong kind of refrigerant in the system could pose a risk or result in severe damage, so it is essential that you do this correctly. We hope that this helps to point you in the right direction so that you can have the peace of mind knowing you are using the right type of Car AC Gas. If your car has 1234YF refrigerant, then you should stay with that. R134a is the usual, but a lot of new cars are switching over to 1234yf right now. New cars are not allowed to use R-134a in air conditioning systems anymore, manufacturers are now switching to R-1234yf, which has a much lower GWP. Many older air conditioning systems that depended on R-12 as the coolant could be converted to use R-134a. Some air conditioning systems, however, can be converted to run with the new refrigerant, like when an older R-12 system is converted to run with R-134a. If your car was built after 1995, as is the case for most cars, you will need an R134a refrigerant, which is a less damaging replacement for an R12 system. It is best to use R134a refrigerant in your vehicle if it was manufactured in 1994 or later. If you are driving a classic car, it might still have R12 refrigerant, and that is still legal for driving and all that stuff but if you want better cooling performance and easier A/C maintenance, you might be able to get your older car converted to run on a new type of refrigerant.
