  4. Introduction The lynx is an amazing wildcat. Its fur is soft but their nasty a the same time so hope you like the book.

  5. BODY Lynx are wildcats. Their fur colour can be red, orange, and grey. On the top of their ears they have little bit of fur. It is black and grey. On the bottom of the stomach it is white.

  6. HABITAT Most lynx live in northern forest country. Some live still farther north, in the treeless Tundra. Lynx live in Europe, North America and Asia. Their homes are thick forests and open woodlands.

  7. FOOD Lynx hunt quietly at night. They hide and jump out ferociously at their prey. Lynx eat squirrels, hares, and birds. Large lynx even eat deer.

  8. LIFE CYCLE Female lynx give birth to one to four kittens in a litter. Kittens leave their mothers after about 10 months. Lynx live 10 to 15 years in the wild.

  9. FUN FACTS A lynx’s large feet help it walk on top of snow. Most North American lynx live in Canada and Alaska. Lynx are shy. They stay away from people.
